Hello, 2008

State of the movement for the freedom to marry:

In New Hampshire, laws went into effect on the 1st granting lesbian and gay couples civil unions.

In Oregon, progress on civil unions is being held up in the courts.

And here in California, we’re still pressing ahead, opening hearts and minds and finding new supporters.

Things can be great in 2008!
